Behind the walls of a gamingwebsite, Part 3

Last time I was talking about getting the idea, and make it happen. But a gaming website has to get sponsors, or at least get in touch with developers and PR companies to hopefully get promo copies to keep on top of the releases.

I learned the hard way that the website has to look good when asking for promotion copies, because that’s the first impression that the companies get. If it looks good, the review of their game will look good too.

Also, don’t stick with a template – develop the look and get your own unique design, especially a logo that your readers will remember and associate with you and the website.

Next time; The hard work paying off.

Oh hai and welcome to my small corner on the internet! I am a gamer at heart, and I love to write - so what's better than doing this? You can also find me streaming games on Twitch, being opinionated on X and sharing screen shots on Instagram.
